News from July 2008 Brawley Farm Show in Jefferson, OR. After nearly
a month at home without regular jumping rides (due to our small arena),
Poetic headed down to the Brawley show to fill in for a horse that got
hurt.
Word from the first day of the show is great...Poetic is fabulous as
always placing a strong 2nd and 5th out of 17 horses in the Baby Green
Division...really happy with this for her second time out!
She then received great ribbons with an 11 year old rider...Full results

Poetic at May Monroe
News from May 2008 PNWHJ show-
Poetic wins 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Baby Green Hunters AND after showing
only three easy days in the Level 0 jumpers wins Reserve Champion. Not
bad for a first real show!

show. She was very good and we love how she uses those knees!
More fun schooling
fences with Poetic...
This great
mare was started under saddle in April 2006 and seems to really like
having a job. She shows so much ability in over fences that we think
she is very well suited for the hunter/jumper world but would also make
a super eventer with her three very good, correct gaits and fantastic
work ethic.
This mare sports
many top TB eventing lines on her dam side(dam is by Staff Writer) as
well as tons of power and step from her sire, Palladio. Poetic stands
over 15.3hh and is currently still growing (as of May 07). We expect
her to finish close to or a little over 16hh.
Poetic's inital
digital screening xrays look great and were taken in May of 07 so she
is ready to head out into the world with a new partner.
She would be a
great project for a nice future show horse.

Below is 3 year
old Poetic spending the summer learning how to trail ride. We love what
this does for the mind on a young horse without the stress of lunging
or boredom of arena work.
FREE JUMPING-This
filly is a natural. This was only her second time playing in a chute.
We just wanted to see what she thought of the idea...we couldn't get
her to stop!
